POLICY Landsport
is dedicated to providing quality service and quality products to our
customers. If you have a problem with your ramps/products please
call us immediately at 877-687-7267, or email us at info@landsport.com. GENERAL All
of our products carry a lifetime warranty as long as you own them.
Product warranty is non-transferable. NORMAL
RETURNS Product
can be returned within 30 days of the shipping date as long as
it
is in "new condition" and is returned in it original packaging. A 15 percent restocking fee will be
accessed to any product returned during that 30 day period.
Landsport must be called and an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization)
number will be assigned. Product
must be returned (at customers cost) to our SD facility within those 30 days. Returned product should reference the RMA
number. Any product returned without an RMA number will be rejected
by our shipping department. After 30 days, no normal returns are
allowed. Custom ramps cannot be returned. Product not
purchased from Landsport Corporation cannot be returned. RETURN
DUE TO DAMAGE If
our ramps are damaged during normal usage, within capacity limits, and
were strapped to the trailer during use, we will replace the ramps at no
charge to the customer. (this includes return shipping of damaged product,
shipping of replacement product and cost of replacement product) In
order to begin a claim, we require the customer to call us when the
failure occurs and explain the circumstances surrounding the
failure. The customer must then send us pictures of the product
damage. If actual pictures "at the scene" are available we
will also request to see them. We will make no determination,
nor will we replace damaged product before pictures have been submitted to
us. Once
pictures are obtained we will look at the damage, along with the failure
explanation and make a decision if the damage is a result of product
failure or misuse of the ramps. The decision of responsibility of
damage is at the sole discretion of Landsport Corporation. If
it is determined that the damage to the product was due to a product
failure, Landsport will schedule a pickup of the damaged ramps at a
commercial location in your original ship-to area. Landsport
will also manufacture a new, like product and ship them to you at a
commercial location in your original ship-to area at no cost. Please
be aware that the following list is a non-exclusive list of damages
to product that Landsport will NOT COVER: Normal
wear and tear on ramps Cleats
being damaged due to customer using metal tract equipment on them
WITHOUT putting rubber over them (mud flap, conveyor belt
rubber) Damage
to structure of ramps/support stands/"product" because of
overloading capacity restrictions. READ YOUR QUOTE!
KNOW YOUR CAPACITY RATING! Damage
to end stands or ramps when they are not strapped to trailer frame
during use. Damage
due to misuse of the product Load
Levelers used with no logging chains attaching them to trailer Damage
to ramps/hook seats if hook seats were not properly installed on the trailer. REMEMBER
TO STRAP YOUR RAMPS TO THE TRAILER FRAME WHILE IN USE.
