Load leveler ramps serve multiple purposes which vastly increases your earning potential.  In one of our Most Popular Drop Deck Packages you receive (2) pairs of 8-foot, 40,000 lb capacity ramps, (2) support stands which break apart for easy storage, (2) adjustable stake pocket brackets, (2) fixed stake pocket brackets and (6) H-Clips used for stacking dimensional lumber.  Applications of this package are:

• Utilize them as 20,000 lb. capacity load levelers (ea)   * In standard package 2 pieces serve as load levelers, Upgrade available 

• Utilize both pairs of 8-ft ramps and support stands and you have a 16-foot,  40,000 lb capacity modular ramp package

• Utilize a single pair of the 8-ft ramps and load/unload equipment between your lower deck and upper deck.  

• Utilize a single pair of the 8-ft ramps to load/unload high clearance, climbing capable equipment (bobcats, skid steers) from the ground to the lower deck of the trailer

USED AS 20.000 LB CAPACITY LOAD LEVELERS

When placed on their side across your 102" wide drop deck trailer, the LL Ramps have a "B Hook" on each end.  When these lightweight 96 lb load levelers are utilized, the "B Hooks" are pinned to the removable stake pocket brackets which rest in your stake pockets on the roadside and curbside of your drop deck.  One of the two stake pocket brackets is adjustable to accommodate the slight variations of the deck width on a 102" wide trailer.    Once the ramps are placed on their sides and are pinned to the stake pockets, they MUST be chained down using logging chains on both roadside and curbside.  Each stake pocket bracket has a chain slot to accept the logging chain. Three (3) H-Clips (see picture above) can be placed on top of the 20" high Load Leveler if lumber needs to be added to balance your load.  6" wide dimensional lumber must be used. 

USED AS 40.000 LB CAPACITY RAMPS

When the load leveler ramps are used as modular ramps, the "B Hooks" on the upper ends of the upper ramps (2 pieces) are pinned to the Hook Seats mounted on your drop deck.  The lower ends of the upper ramps are pinned to the center support stands.  On the lower ramps (the other 2 pieces), the upper ends are pinned to the center stands, and the lower ends rest on the ground.   The lower ends typically have a knife point that allows for smooth transition from the ground to the ramps when loading your equipment.  If a reinforced 2" stub toe is desired then we will build it that way for you!  As ramps, these heavy-duty, lightweight ramps have a 40,000 lb capacity if the wheelbase of the equipment you are loading is at least 8 feet.
