Our
patented five 5-car kit system offers the ultimate flexibility for the LTL
owner operator. The system creates an upper
deck that can haul three cars (one truck over step allowed) and leave the
lower deck open for the additional two cars. Once assembled and
secured with the 4 required logging chains, this assembly is so stable you
would think it is part of the trailer!
Cars
are loaded/unloaded on the upper deck from the front of the trailer using a modular pair of
ramps that are included in the kit. The modular set of ramps (2 pairs
of ramp and support stands) can be upgraded with higher capacity ramps if
desired.
The
flexibility of the kit allows the user to setup the entire kit or only the
front portion of the kit depending upon hauling needs. Setting up the front portion only allows the
hauling of 3 vehicles and any other cargo on the rear of your trailer.
The kit does not include storage
brackets for the ramps, but we can custom fabricate storage brackets for you
for $600. These brackets will only store the 5,000 lb max axle ramps that
make up the kit. Any other ramps you want to store on brackets will require
an additional cost. The installation of the hook seats is included in the
price of the product. Pickup, installation and training of the 5-car kit is
performed in Sturgis, SD only.
